As part of the prerequisites for the attainment of admission into the renowned University of Ibadan, is the Matriculation ceremony which officially makes one a bona fide student of the University. Hence, ninety-seven (97) first year students of Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija, having fulfilled the preceding conditions for admission, were officially matriculated by the University of Ibadan on the 24th of January, 2018, for the Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Department of Philosophy. The attainment of the Degree in Philosophy is essential to the seminary formation, as it presupposes the acquisition of an adequate background to the study of Theology. The ceremony which began at exactly 9:00a.m. had the presence of the officials from the University of Ibadan: Prof. M. K. Akinsola (Director of the Directorate of Affiliated Universities) representing the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Idowu Olayinka, Prof. Dr.  Ikeoluwapo Moody (the Deputy Registrar Academics), Prof. Francis Offor (Head of the Philosophy Department), and Prof. A. B. Ekanola (the Dean, Faculty of Arts), alongside the members of the seminary formation team.
